Parents for Carpenter is a nonprofit volunteer organization formed in 1986 by a group of enthusiastic parents for the sole purpose of raising funds to support CarpenterAvenueElementary School. PFC is dedicated to endowing programs that have been curtailed due to federal, state and local budget limits.

Through its ongoing fundraising programs, Parents for Carpenter provides all Carpenter students with weekly music, physical education, dance, Science Lab and Media Lab classes. PFC also funds a credentialed teacher for the 4th and 5th classroom downsizing, buses for science related field trips, educational materials, aides for our teachers and administration, school enrichment events and funding for campus improvements, among other benefits.

PFC remains committed to increasing and improving the programs available to Carpenter students and it relies upon the time and dedication of its parent members to assist in achieving this goal. Volunteering is a great way to establish friendships and share in the Carpenter experience, so please consider participating on committees that suit your interests and talents.
