GREETING CARD FUNDRAISING CHAIR - Job Timeframe:  January - April with 4 busy times of a few days each -- the busiest is when orders are collected and submitted in mid-March.

Job Duties:
  • Communicating with teachers and parents/student body about the program: distributing teacher information, distributing release forms to parents, distributing catalogs/order forms to parents, distributing greeting cards, and dealing with individual issues.
  • Communicating with Greeting Card Company (Artwork for Education): submitting artwork and release forms, submitting order forms, and trouble-shooting.
  • Keeping track of funds raised and submitting a tally of orders and checks to PFC.

Dinner Dance Volunteer Coordinator - Rally the troops school wide and meet with each committee head to help fill positions for the DD&A, as well as work closely with and help the Dinner Dance Chairs with the Flow of the event the night of at the location. Most likely will work with a Co-Coordinator. This volunteer should be available and have pretty open flexibility from January through May.
The PFC can't raise the money we need for the enrichment programs your kids love without volunteers.

Procurement Team - The Procurement Committee needs volunteers to make a few phone calls to businesses/parents who have donated items to the Dinner Dance and Silent Auction in the past.  You can make as few or as many phone calls as you have time for. Raffle Coordinator: This positions entails a few times a week sweeping each of the classrooms on campus to collect any raffle tickets and funds that students and parents may have turned into their classroom. Keep track of the funds and ticket stubs collected, track the funds weekly to be grand totaled at the end of raffle sales and house the tickets until they are collected and to be placed in the raffle bin at the Dinner Dance & Auction Night. This Volunteer Position would be oh so much fun to perhaps even split between two friends.

Slush Fund Volunteers: We also would love anyone who wants to come on board with any amount of time. Whether it is a half hour  to anyone who could make a more hefty time commitment to come and roll up there sleeves and join in on the fun in any capacity. Guys are also needed for a small amount of time the week of the event to help with heavy lifting.

Dinner Dance & Auction Teacher Ad/Teacher Tickets Coordinator - works with Room Parents to make sure Ads, tickets and funding for both are collected, tracked for the PFC Treasurer and turned in before deadlines. February through April.

Event Program Guide & Carpenter Shops Administrator and Financial Secretary - Collect, tracks and records each ad that comes in on carbon triplicate forms. Track funds for the PFC Treasurer  *this takes time commitment* January through May.

School Wide Volunteer Coordinator - Volunteer should have a good working knowledge PTA & PFC events throughout the year and who heads up each of those events. Collects Volunteer Sign up forms at the Thank You breakfast and at the beginning of the year. Types and sends names and emails to each Committee head whether it is PTA or PFC from the forms. *August/September through June time commitment.

Earning For Learning Westfield Mall Receipt Coordinator - Attend monthly meetings, held once a month from August to February Tuesday mornings from 10am to 11am at Fashion Square Mall in the upper Mezzanine portion of the Food Court. **Needs to attend every meeting or have a replacement, school can be cut from program if a Rep is not present at each meeting**  Bundle in school wide numbers, pre-printed flyers that are given out at meetings to be placed in Teachers Boxes by appropriate office box drop deadline. Collect and log receipts at the Mall and attend the awards ceremony in February at the Mall on the schools behalf. Also coordinates with PFC Treasurer once winning funds are collected. Very easy position for someone who works and has flexibility or a stay at home parent. August through February.



Track Meet - Coordinates the school wide Track Meet with Coach Marty that is held in mid April after school.
